Planning Your Event
How does the UNITE Program work?
Step One - Plan
Discuss ideas with Unit members and Commander
Start thinking about what would be a fun activity for your team! Check out some of the fun activities you can do with the 75 FSS!
Allocations & Funding
$5 per person for food
and/or beverage during event (alcoholic beverages prohibited).
$13.50 per person
for recreation equipment, rentals, venue admission, or activity fees (i.e. bowling, golf, paintball, escape rooms, crafts)
Disbursement requires C3 and AFSVC pre-approval.
Eligibility
All military and civilian (GS & NAF) employees are eligible. Family members and contractors may join events at their own expense.
STEP TWO - Complete Forms
Designate an Unite POC and complete Unite POC Appointment Letter.
Once complete, Fill out Event Proposal Form and submit to Johanne.Bercher.1@us.af.mil 14-21 days prior to the event
STEP THREE - Work with Vendors & c3
Once approved, work with vendors and C3 to make tax exempt payment.
*Please note that this is not a reimbursement program. Do not obligate or spend money prior to approval.
Step four - DURING THE EVENT
Have fun and connect with colleagues.
Take photos, including a group photo (required) and submit to your UNITE POC.
Step Five - AFTER THE EVENT
Submit After-Action Report with group photo questionnaire (Required) to C3 – Johanne.Bercher.1@us.af.mil
Event Ideas & FSS UNITE Packages
Information and Referral/Resources, Family Needs Assessment and Service Plan, One-on-One Consultation, Workshops/Special Events, Respite Information, Relocation and Financial Assistance, Early Intervention and Special Education Information
